NASCAR Driver Carson Hocevar to Headline Tornado Relief Event at Zeigler Motorsports June 5 at 6:30pm

Zeigler Auto Group today announced that it will be hosting the Drive for Kalamazoo County Tornado Relief on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Zeigler Motorsports in benefit of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Portage-native and NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar will headlining the event and will also be auctioning memorabilia from Spire Motorsports and other generous donors. Tickets are$100 for general admission and $200 for VIP admission which includes a signed No. 77 diecast car and a meet and greet with Hocevar.

KALAMAZOO, MICH (May 22, 2024) Zeigler Auto Group today announced that it will be hosting the Drive for Kalamazoo County Tornado Relief fundraiser headlined by Portage native and NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar in benefit of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation in partnership with United Way. The event, presented by the Zeigler’s Drive for Life Foundation and Spire Motorsports, will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Zeigler Motorsports (5001 Park Circle Drive).

“I am honored to be part of this event that will help raise funds for something that has hit so close to home for me. The tornados left a trail of devastation that affected our entire community. I was born and raised in Portage, and I am proud of how everyone is coming together to help those who need it most,” said Hocevar, whose family’s business was also directly affected by the natural disaster. Besides a meet and greet, the Zeigler.com No 77 driver will also be speaking at the event and auctioning off NASCAR memorabilia from Spire Motorsports and other generous donors.

 

Silent auction items will include: two VIP tickets to the Michigan International Speedway race( with a Hocevar meet and greet), two signed visors, signed photos, a 30 second Cameo featuring the NASCAR driver, and additional surprise items.

The event will also include light Hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and a Zeigler.com No 77 replica Camaro. All proceeds will go to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, a local non-profit heading up efforts to help community members with costs associated with tornado damages not covered by insurance.
